DESMI is a global acting company in the field of pumps and pumping systems. We are globally acting as “one global company”. In the last years, DESMI has made a rapid development and we are continuing our growth strategy.
From our base in Utrecht, we are covering the Be/NL/LUX area. For this section, we are searching for the
Sales manager (Be/NL/LUX)
Together with your team of actually 5 sales men (external and internal), you are taking care of DESMI´s interests in this regional area.
Responsibilities:
- To be primarily responsible for the business development and market promotion of DESMI centrifugal pumps and Rotan pumps in marine and industry for the area Be/NL/LUX
- To lead, coach and develop you sales team
- Promote DESMI in your local area
- To continually ensure that we are developing strong and productive relationships with our customers wherever possible meeting their needs, creating a high degree of customer satisfaction.
- To acquire a strong knowledge of the DESMI and ROTAN pumps;
- To gather, analyse and share market intelligence with your management colleagues, which could lead to future business growth opportunities.
- Give strong technical and commercial support to OEM, distributors, engineering companies and end users.
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in engineering, economy or sales;
- The willingness to travel regularly on company business
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Dutch and English
- Good experience sales of technical equipment and components to the B2B market Computer based skill such as Micorsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.
